I heard the news about Malaysia trying to claim Indonesia's culture as theirs. Read on..
Wow, this is their 4th time trying to take away our culture.
The last time, they tried to claim batik, a traditional song "Rasa Sayange", and something called "Reog Ponogoro" (i think it's some kind of lion dance) as theirs. Now, they are claiming that a traditional dance that originated from Bali called "Pendet" is theirs.
But the question is: Can you proof they are really yours?
And the answer is obviously: No.
How ludicrous, rude, and disrespectful.
It's as if they don't have their own culture, and then try to take away ours? NO, a thousand times NO! Don't have any culture? Well too bad, go find your own, don't steal ours just because our ministry of culture and public relations are not ferocious enough to defend our treasure.
